  SABA BATTERY is regarded as one of the largest and leading producers of battery in the Middle East region. The company enjoys a trusted name both in national and international arenas. This industrial and manufacturing complex has been comprised of many affiliated factories as well.

 With over 40 years experience in battery making industry, this company produces various types of light and heavy car starter batteries, Stationary batteries special for telecommunications and emergency power (UPS) systems, industrial batteries and also different types of ultra-heavy batteries with specific purposes, ranging from 36 Ah to 14000 Ah . Producing high quality batteries as mentioned in above has been put atop agenda of management of this company. Presently, this company takes advantage of high technical know-how and potentials, equipped with the world most modern equipment and machinery coupled with expert technicians and engineers. Moreover, this company supplies its products to both national and international markets, observing requirements of standard rules and regulations.

 Copper and Lead Group

Fajr Colorful Metals Group was established in 1938 with the aim of melting and smelting copper. In 1976, thanks to the development and expansion of activities of company, a contract was concluded for revising and reviving copper from batteries. Finally, mass production of  copper and lead metals was started in 1979. In qualitative and quantitative terms,   the company has increased its production volume through taking advantage of the world most modern and advanced equipment and machinery. In the same direction, the company has used all its extant potentials and capabilities.Today, many industrial projects and plans of this company are executed and designed by experienced domestic technicians and engineers.

 Major Scope of Activity

Hereunder are regarded as major scope of activities:

1-      Production of various types of lead (soft lead, 16L, S5.5, St8.7, N5, S4.5, AS9.7, L14, selenium lead and calcium lead)

2-      Copper cathodes

3-      Precious and valuable metals (gold and silver)

This affiliated group is considered as one of the leading and experienced industries in production of copper from minerals. With over 60 years experience, this industrial and manufacturing group play a key and important role in supplying copper for industries of country in the field of power and telecommunications industry. lead production industries from wasted and worn-out batteries is regarded as the other industrial complexes to this group, playing an important and noticeable role in reducing environmental pollutions as a result of aggregation of such types of wastes in the country as well.

Ghadr  Refractories  Group    

This industrial and manufacturing unit was commissioned and established on Bahman 22, 1371 (Feb. 11, 1993) with the production capacity of 12,000 tons of various types of alumina – shamotte  products. The management of company has taken effective steps with the aim of meeting requirements of country to refractory products. According to technical know-how and technological potentials of its experienced and skilled staff and workers, this company, in the field of ceramics, managed to take giant strides in line with boosting production volume of refractory products specially in steel and cement production industries. However, Sales Engineering Services Department of factory has tried its utmost efforts with the aim of offering quality technical services in the field of furnace of refractory materials and heat treatment parts and equipment, designing and manufacturing molds and also compilation of applications of refractory products.

 Applications

Iron, steel, oil and petrochemical industries, cement, lime and gypsum, tile, ceramics, glaze, glass, sugar production companies, energy and non-ferrous metals production industries are considered as major customers of the group's refractory materials.

 Varieties of Products

Various types of firebricks in standard dimensions, bricks with specific shapes for smelting and molding production lines, various types of non-shaped products whether mortar and castables are regarded as products of this industrial and manufacturing group. It should be noted that research and development programs have put this industrial and manufacturing factory as one of leading industrial complexes in production of refractory products in target markets.
