As one of leading and the largest producers of various types of batteries in the Middle East region, SABA BATTERY has enjoyed a familiar and trusted name as well. With its four affiliated factories, this company is honored to supply its products, various types of car batteries, both to domestic and foreign markets, observing requirements of standard rules and regulations appropriately.  

Upon taking advantage of world most modern and advanced equipment and machinery, manufactured by leading European companies, and also benefiting from experienced and skilled technicians and engineers, this company embarks on production of various types of car batteries, ranging from 36 Ah up to 200 Ah capacity, with the production volume of 2.5 million sets per annum, including lead -acid batteries and also MF sealed batteries (maintenance free ) with the production volume of 1.5 million sets per annum as well.

It should be noted that Quality Control (QC) Department of this company has been equipped with advanced and sophisticated parts and equipment, benefited from experienced and skilled manpower. In the same direction, Battery Test Laboratory of Saba Battery Group has been accredited and approved by the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) as one of leading battery test centers in 1998.

Thanks to its best performance, presently, Battery Test Laboratory of this industrial and manufacturing group is regarded as the most reputable and reliable battery test center across the country. While receiving international ISO 1994 – 9002 certificate from Lloyds Register, accredited by leading British UKAS Company, and also international ISO 9001 – 2000 certificate from the mentioned company, SABA BATTERY managed to receive ISO TS 16949 certificate for establishing Quality Management System (QMS) special of car manufacturing industries from leading URS Company. In the said system, batteries' important qualitative parameters such as initial voltage of battery, capability of charging operation, durability, capability of start and also qualitative production process parameters such as reduction of wastage, reduction of redundant works and operation in all production stages are consecutively and constantly are measured and assessed.

According to the viewpoints of customers (feedback), products of this company have been highly welcomed as well, indicating best and excellent performance of company in this regard. In tandem with change of consumption pattern and technology of vehicles and with the aim of gaining customers' satisfaction towards meeting their requirements, the management of company has put improvement and amelioration of pertinent programs atop agenda. Improvement of programs of company has been made based on the experiences gained in this regard during years of activity coupled with taking advantage of leading scientific resources in world, etc.

In addition, for improvement and promoting quality of products, the company, in an unprecedented move, has embarked on exchanging dilapidated equipment and machinery with world most modern equipment as well. It should be noted that receiving ISIRI certificate and prolongation of validity of obtained certificates in consecutive years for various types of batteries indicates efforts of this company for responding to requests of customers as well as observing legal necessaries.

By establishing European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model in 2007, Saba Battery has managed to define and execute many development projects, resulting to receiving National Prize Award and National Productivity Award for its affiliated departments from 2005 to 2007.

Starter expansion project has been defined and executed with the aim of qualitative and quantitative promotion of various types of car lead-acid batteries. Promotion of quality on MF sealed batteries  is regarded as main aim of this project in a way that production of 1.5 million batteries (MF) has been considered as the main objective of this project as well. With the aim of realizing most of predefined objectives as mentioned in above, this company has used state of the art technology for production of batteries, meeting all requirements of the new generation to such types of batteries as well. It should be noted that all of our products company have been entitled to observe requirement of international EN 50342 + A standard rules and regulations which is related to the sealed batteries.

Two leading European (EN) and Japanese (IIS) models have been used for products of the company entitled "starter".For this reason, batteries  (( L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5 )) will be manufactured based on European standard while batteries with NS60 and 55D23 brands will be produced based on Japanese standard rules and regulations in first phase of this project.
